Jay’s Travelogue

I’ve begun learning Romanian in preparation for the June Moldova trip. Our wonderful library hooked me up with a Romanian language program, which went straight to the iPod. Apparently the Moldovan language is almost identical to Romanian.

If you see me walking down the street talking to myself, it’s possible I’m working on my Romanian.

I will be traveling to Moldova in June of this year with 11 other people from NFBC. I agreed to go after hearing friends tell about the poverty of the country and the orphans and how they’re in need to shoes and clothing. I’ll be carrying both with me when I go.
